All the spacious value Of the word Paraclete, as used Of the Holy Spirit, is contained in the word encouragement when used in reference to the Scriptures Of truth. It suggests appeal and advocacy. The things written aforetime make their perpetual appeal to men as they advocate the true principle Of life in the midst Of conflict.
