Dalithadvytha: Towards Dalit Theology of Resistance and Assertion

Dr. Prasad provides the outlines of new paradigm for theology and its challenge to faith and action. Taking cues from pollution which is today’s problem in the environment, he critiques common approaches to caste system arguing that Indian theologians who have failed to look into untouchability, cultural oppression and social exploitation of Dalits. The very experience of suffering and social shame becomes a challenge to each Dalit and liberation theologians to explore his/her identity as the liberating agent.
