This book is a reproduction of the author’s thesis written for her Master of Theology degree. The church and the people of the world today need to know why and Israel needed to be reminded once again why they were in captivity for 70 years. It is very important to recognize sin and its consequences in our lives and that even in the midst of that, God is a merciful and covenant-keeping God. God intervenes in Israel’s history and the world even today. Although he strikes, he is also a God of hope, a God who redeems and restores. Ezekiel’s Theology gives us the picture of the future worship foreshadowing of the perfect worship that is to come where the Lord is there (Ezekiel 48:35c).
